One of the new products announced by Victorinox at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is its Secure SSD, a 256GB SSD storage device that's no bigger than a regular USB flash drive. It comes with a monochrome 96 x 46-pixel e-Paper display that can be used to label the drive and show information such as the memory space available. Also onboard are data encryption features as well as support for USB and the faster eSATA connectivity.
According to the brochure, the final product will come with attachment options for various Swiss Army Knife tools such as blades, scissors and nail file. The 128GB and 256GB versions are expected to be launched in March, while a 512GB model is slated for later this year.
Victorinox also introduced its new Slim Duo USB flashdrive at CES.
