Correction...

The w995 supposedly has the stripped-down camera from the C902, instead of "It's the stripped-down version of the C902".

This comes from many people at various online SE forums that analyze the phone and did some background research!

The w995 is supposedly the stripped-down version of the C902.

SE does not want the w995 to compete with the C series since the phone is a Walkman (W) phone so it's emphasis is on music not photography!

No xenon flash and the picture quality is decent but Mainly for day or up-close shots NOT night or long-distance shots!

It's OK for spur-of-the-moment shots but, as many people have said on many online forums...

If you want good pictures, buy a (digital) camera!

This is primarily a phone with a media player as its primary function with a camera as its secondary function.

hey kind of agree, and they disabled the pause button, how cunning !! i'm sure that is against some act or some form of advertising law!!!

But one thing Cnet should really improve is the ability to play video in the window, and not bring me out of it, or view picture in it and not kick me out to the image gallery page. doesn't make sense...

Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman

In Tech : Mobile Tech

Description: The W995 Walkman is great as a feature phone, but it won't offer you the best video or Web browsing experience on its tiny 2.6-inch display.
