I've traded 5800 to 5530. Its smaller and seemingly upgraded OS with quite a couple of tweaks to boost its User Interface. On the flipside, it has sacrificed GPS and comes-with-music (unlimited d/l of songs). Guess they do it to keep the cost low for 5530.

1) What's in the box for 5800:-
- xtra stylus
- landyard
- TV out cable
- USB port
- Charger
- Comes With Music keychain of sorts
- Casing
- Lousy earpiece
- 8 Gig card

2) 5530
- Charger
- Steady stereo earpiece
- Shortened USB cable
- 4 gig card

But if you dont really fancy a gps or CWM, get 5530.

I've deen using it since March & no problem so far.

What do you mean by good or not cause it all depends on what are your need for buying this phone.

It's strong points are being able to download free music & having touch screen, the rest are just basic functions which you normally get in other phones.

If you want more games or software, you can download them from Nokia OVI website.

Hope the info help.

Hi have a Nokia 5800 and it have given me so many issues in the last 1 month that not even all my phones together have given me in last 10 years.

Nokia 5800 -

Issue 1 : My screen went blank in just 30 days and the phone was rendered dead.

Issue 2 : Phone auto shuts down 2-3 times a day even after factory reset , so u will not relaise and the phone will just shut down.and it will not switch on till you removed the batter and then aain put the battery back.

Issue 3 : Connection Error the phone gives me connection error more then frequently , and just cuts the calls abruptly.

Issue 4 : Even when I hold the phone in Potrate mode the display is ain landscape mode.

Issue 5 : Need to charge the batter atleast 2 times a day.

And you know worst of all Nokia is not even ready to listen and does not have any avenues for me to complain. They are not even ready to replace my phone.

Worst is Nokia Careline .. I mean I have used all brands in the last 10 years and the pathetic leven of support that is provided by Nokia is really shocking... I seriously recommend never to buy a Nokia phone and dont even think of buying N5800.

Nokia does not have the skill and technology to build a touch phone and they have come out with just a fancy featured phone which does not work at all.

In Tech : Mobile Tech

Description: Nokia's first outing with the S60 5th Edition platform and unlimited music download service proves to be very compelling. It just needs to address the inconsistencies in the user interface.
