Toshiba's flexible display with bend control

The prototype shown at the Computex showfloor is an 8.4-inch 800 x 600-pixel, panel which can be bent to a curvature radius of 50mm. What's surprising is that this unit has a thin 0.4mm LED edge light to illuminate the display. We can't wait for the first consumer hardware to sport this unique technology.
