Top 10 cameras of November

Last month's chart saw the Canon PowerShot S90 hot on the heels of the top-ranking Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. Both shooters are advanced compacts that appeal to enthusiasts, so this might indicate a trend that consumers are getting savvier and want a more powerful camera.

Among the slew of innovative compacts launched this year, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 is doing extremely well. Its main highlight is the Exmor R image sensor and, of course, a sleek design. The Samsung ST550 is not far off, too. Its front-facing LCD is a very practical feature for users who like to take self portraits.

Note: Results are based on readership and polls conducted with selected retailers (Cathay Photo Store and MS Color Service) in Singapore.
