If this rumor about a 35-megapixel dSLR from Sony is true, then perhaps the megapixel war is not over yet. Spanish photo site Foto Actualidad mentioned that the electronics giant will soon announce a 35-megapixel dSLR and its tentative name is the Alpha A1R. The rumored specifications include dual BIONZ processors, 3-inch LCD and a top shutter speed of 1/12,000 second with ISO range from 25 to 3,200. The site even has what seems to be the official specifications sheet.

Last year, the electronics giant unleashed the world's first 24.6-megapixel dSLR, the Alpha DSLR-A900. Will the firm follow up with the speculated higher-resolution camera this year, or will it be just hot A1R? I got a feeling we'll know soon enough.
