According to Sony, the 9.4-inch S1 has an "off-center of gravity" design. That sounds a little cryptic, but from images, it looks like a sheet of metal folded to create a smooth rounded edge on the top.
Even more unique is the S2, which sports a clamshell design with two 5.5-inch displays. The two screens can act as one-- broken in the center, not unlike outdoor multi-screen displays--or work separately so the top shows information while the bottom acts as a keyboard or controller. In a video presentation, the lower screen became a touch-sensitive PlayStation controller while the game Crash Bandicoot ran on the upper display.

According to Sony's blog post, S1 and S2 are codenames, so we have to wait for proper product names in the future. They will be available globally this fall, which could mean as late as early Q4.
