After Singapore operators StarHub and M1 announced their iPhone mobile plans, SingTel said it will be tweaking its tariffs to match the competition. Here's the result of that:
- Data bundle has been upped to 12GB for the iFlexi Lite, Value and Plus plans with unlimited data for iFlexi Premium.
- Excess data charges are now capped at S$30.
- Handset prices have been reduced, matching M1's.
- All current iFlexi customers, not just new signups, will benefit from the changes.
- A S$20 daily flat rate roaming plan in seven countries (Australia, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines) to cater to those who like to use data while roaming.
To help you make a buying decision, here are the updated iPhone plans and prices from the three telcos in table form.

Yeah! Camera is also a joke! Cannot take out battery, lousy battery life and tiny speakerphone volume, cannot multi task... the list goes on...
whole iphone thingy is a worldwide joke really,..i can't even make a basic video call. Uncle Sam is taking everybody 4 a ride.
I would have preferred to see a reduction in the monthly subscription! 12G is a lot of data. Not many will use it all so it does not make a difference to me!
consumers always want more and more but they dont even know what they want. all they know is more is better. hence, telcos take advantage of this "little" people.
hahaha singetl gan cheong over starhub matching m1's offering instead, consumers celebrate!....but seriously that damn data cap reallly should've been limited a looong time ago (imagine how much profit singtel can take if they would charge usage in excess of 1GB, last time?) now its pointless, unless somebody's a data hogger, which in turn the iphone's battery faster; but the fix(ed) roaming charges is a welcome feature THX, but hoping to add more countries to the initial 7 listed will be great.
