Samsung's latest Android smartphone, the Galaxy S II, is expected to be out in Singapore next month, according to Gregory Lee, CEO for Samsung Asia. Mum's the word on the pricing for now. First announced at Mobile World Congress, the Galaxy S II packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel autofocus camera and 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display. There will be two variants--one with NFC embedded and one without--although it's not clear which one will be available in the city-state. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread and, in a bid to woo over business organizations, supports a suite of enterprise mobile solutions including Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and Sybase's Afaria Advanced Enterprise Security.
