Question

If I buy a Sony PSP in the US, will it work in India? I'm asking because the voltage used in India is 220V while it's 110V in the US.

Answer

Most Sony PSP retail units will ship with a power adapter that works from 100V-240V, but it would be safer to double check before plugging it into your wall socket. The PSP will work in your country if the included AC adapter works within that range. But note that you may have to purchase a new power cord or use an adapter as the US version of the PSP will come with a US power plug.

Update: Here's an answer to an earlier question regarding the use of UMD games/videos and firmware updates of a US PSP in India.
