Question
I'm thinking of getting an MP3 player with recording function. I know that almost all MP3 devices have this function, but I need something more for recording. I've bought Creative's MP3 player before, but the recording effects are not that good. I tried to record some "live" music and when I replayed the recording, it turned out very loud and unclear. I realize that the reviews seldom mention the recording function of MP3 players. Pls kindly give me some suggestions on this.

The recording feature found on most MP3 players is meant for you to record voices in an interview or for voice notes. As such, you cannot expect the quality to be great, and it certainly won't suffice for recording live music. If you really want to record music, you'll need a proper microphone and a decent recording device. Those will cost you a lot of money, of course. It's unlikely you'll be able to find an ordinary MP3 player that can record in very high quality.
