First leaked last September, Motorola has made official the Z10 and the ROKR E8 at the Consumers Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Also joining its arsenal are two W series handsets and a slew of new accessories.

The candy-bar ROKR E8 sports a unique ModeShift technology that replaces the virtual numeric keypad with dedicated music controls at a touch of a button. Like the Razr2 clamshells that came before it, the E8 is also equipped with haptic vibration feedback. From what we can see on the pictures, the E8 has a glossy front and that will have its tradeoffs since it would likely attract fingerprints more easily. Other music-related features include A2DP Bluetooth stereo, a 3.5mm audio jack and 2GB of built-in memory expandable up to 4GB with a microSD card.

On the multimedia front is the Z10, which has a similar "kick slide" design as the Z8. The idea behind the kick-sliding motion is that it curves the phone so that it's closer to your mouth and ear. The Z10 also retains most of the features on the Z8 including a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, HSDPA connectivity, plays videos at 30 frames per second and runs on the Symbian UIQ platform. The biggest difference is the higher resolution 3.2-megapixel camera that powers up in 1.5 seconds, according to the phone-maker.

At the time of writing, we don't have the confirmed availability of the Z10, but the ROKR E8 is expected to be in stores by this quarter in Asia. More details of the products below.
