Senior Sales Manager / Sales Manager, Consumer Group (CNET Asia)

Want to take on the region’s top consumer technology brands? You have experience selling to the consumer technology clients, and have what it takes to convert and retain advertisers through creative selling of online marketing solutions, targeted at the region’s most influential audience of personal tech consumers.

You should be an independent self starter with at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the online/interactive media space. You should come with a successful sales track record, with experience in leading, mentoring and influencing a team. You should possess the drive to meet and exceed the sales target expected of you and your team. In this role, you will be meeting the marketing needs of clients through the various solution offerings. You should be able to work across multiple levels with clients and customise the products according to their business needs. Strong negotiation skills are essential to excel in this role.


Senior Account Manager, Business Group (ZDNet Asia, CNET Direct)

Ready to champion our online and direct marketing solutions to senior B2B marketers? You are no stranger to the business technology industry and understand clients’ business challenges. You will meet the marketing needs of clients through various solution offerings, and proactively shape solutions that drive their marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing to account servicing, so as to build long term client relationships. You should be comfortable negotiating with senior level decision makers and possess the drive to meet and exceed the sales target expected of you. Candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience and a proven sales track record, preferably in online or interactive media space are preferred.


Online Advertising Operations Specialist / Manager

The ad operations specialist / manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of ad campaigns including set up, QA, and day-to-day tactical tasks associated with execution and launch. The candidate would be fluent with technologies such as HTML, Flash and javascript. The position also requires the candidate to develop a long-term strategy for improvement and growth of workflow processes.


Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day operations include inventory management, insertion order tracking, availability forecasting and sell-through reporting
  • Manage correspondence related to gathering creative, reporting and issue resolutions
  • Liaison with advertisers/agencies to oversee proper implementation of campaigns (ad tags, mitigate reporting discrepancies, tracking, etc.)
  • Ensure timely trafficking of campaigns and campaign performance optimisation
  • Manage overall scheduling and delivery of campaigns
  • Work with site producers and trafficker to ensure working ad calls on the site; proper page setup to serve all advertising placements on the website
  • Facilitate and maintain ongoing relationships with Doubleclick; and other third party vendors
  • Constantly monitor and improve customer satisfaction as it relates to the ad implementation process
  • Ensure immediate and direct feedback to sales account executives regarding campaign issues or revisions
  • Identify, recommend and oversee implementation of tools and systems that will improve online advertising operations
  • Document ad operations policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in online advertising or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple tasks
  • Excellent spoken, written and analytical skills
  • Understanding of web technologies and interactive media formats
  • Experience with Doubleclick DART for Publishers (DFP) a plus
  • Ability to promptly and effectively address client concerns and needs
  • Strong understanding of the Internet and Internet advertising
  • BS/BA Degree in related field


Call Centre Supervisor

The successful candidate will need to ensure that the CNET Direct Teleservices operation is appropriately staffed, and to monitor, motivate and maintain a team of productive Telemarketing Specialists.


Responsibilities
  • On-going recruitment of multi-lingual Telemarketing Specialists via direct resources, referrals and agencies
  • Develop new direct recruitment options (refer a friend, new websites, internal and external advertising)
  • Ensure consistent pool of multi-lingual Telemarketing Specialists to fulfill all campaign requirements, often at short notice
  • Ensure required volume of qualified agents for all campaigns
  • Ensure all absenteeism is tracked and documented and absent agents are contacted
  • Assign daily call lists to agents if required
  • Track & report daily call rates
  • Ensure call centre facilities are maintained and to flagged any issues immediately to Operations Manager
  • Provide induction training to all Telemarketing Specialists
  • Maintain induction and system training materials
  • Resolve issues arising with soft phone usage in call centre
  • Trouble-shoot any system errors alongside the Campaign Managers in the call centre

Requirements

  • Experience in recruitment within a call centre environment
  • Proven skills and track record in managing a team of different cultural background and languages
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in English and a 2nd asia language (i.e. Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Hindhi, Vietnamese, Korean, Cantonese etc) is a must
  • Possess Intermediate and/or Advanced Excel skills


Web Designer

You will create and maintain designs for online products and services of CBS Interactive. This includes conceptualizing, designing and executing web graphics for online content, special features and functional user interfaces. In addition, you must meet stringent deadlines while adapting quickly to changing priorities.


Requirements
  • Possess relevant qualifications in Visual Communications/Interactive Media Design or equivalent
  • Excellent skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady and HTML coding
  • Excellent usage of Flash as a design and development tool, including knowledge of actionscripting
  • Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of all design principles (typography, colour, layout, motion, etc.)
  • Clear understanding of web-based constraints
  • Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript is advantageous

Software Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement web based applications
  • Enhance and maintain existing web based applications / systems / website
  • Provide support in administering and maintaining web infrastructures

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or its equivalent, with web development
  • Must have 3 years of web development experience, with minimum 2 years of experience in developing web applications in LAMP environment
  • Must possess knowledge & experience in developing web based Content Management Systems
  • Strong analytical skill is a must
  • Good knowledge & well verse in of web application technologies, strong in relational database optimization
  • An excellent team player and a great self-starter
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess exceptional trouble shooting skills
  • Independent worker and attentive to details


Telemarketing Specialists ($9.50 / hour for those with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct phone interviews with IT or Corporate Decision Makers
  • Identify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits of the product(s) to secure business opportunities
  • Focus on generating qualified leads that would develop into a proposal via contact generation activities
  • Need to make phonecalls but No selling is required

Requirements

  • Able to communicate professionally over the phone
  • Fluent in English is a must and to speak a 2nd language is an advantage – Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai, Korean or Vietnamese
  • MUST be PC literate with IT knowledge in software, hardware and applications
  • You must be prepared to make lots of phone calls but No selling required
  • Experience in Telemarketing is preferred but not compulsory
  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR. Students who can commit to 3 days a week are welcome to apply.
