Other than the NX100 announced today, Samsung is also showing the roadmap for its lenses for the NX system.
Currently, there are three optics: The 30mm pancake lens, 18-55mm kit optics, and the 50-200mm telephoto glass. With the NX100, the Korean chaebol is introducing the 20-50mm F3.5-5.6 zoom and 20mm F2.8 pancake lenses. The duo has the i-Function feature, which lets users control more of the camera via the focusing rings around the lenses.
As for 2011, Samsung plans to launch five lenses. The company intends to deliver a 60mm macro optics and 18-200mm telephoto lens in the first half of next year. The second half of 2011 will see the 16mm pancake, 85mm and 16-80mm lens.
Other than the 20-50mm and 20mm lens, Samsung is also introducing a series of accessories for the new NX camera. There is a 201k-dot electronic viewfinder, a GPS module and a hotshoe flash with a guide number of 15.
