It's official. When the Samsung Galaxy Tab hits Singapore shores, it will come bearing a price of S$998 (US$801.86) for 16GB of storage space.
Considering that the 16GB iPad Wi-Fi + 3G is going for S$998 (US$801.86), the Galaxy Tab isn't all that pricey. Moreover, the Samsung slate will likely be available with operator subsidies, which should take out some of the financial sting. The exact availability date is not provided at this time, but we suspect the Galaxy Tab will be here in time for the holiday buying season.

Can we download microsift office in our galaxy tab? Zali
The Ipad is much larger, so it has to be held using finger strength, making it tiring after a while. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is small enough for the hand to grip along its width, so it is much more convenient to hold. And also, the Samsung Galaxy Tab can make calls, the Ipad can't. This makes the Samsung Galaxy Tab's price rather reasonable.

This pricing is too depressing, after the long wait, I was hoping it would be better priced,

I think it is pricey...Remember that iPad has a bigger screen compare to this. I am just wondering how all the apps would work with all these different screen resolution on different product? I will wait a while and see before I purchase this.
i will buy it hehe ^^

Quite a reasonable pricing for a promising product ! Hope to see it in Malaysia November !
