The bad: Some of the controls are in awkward locations.

The bottom line: The Canon Optura 600 is a very good pocket camcorder that's also a reasonable snapshot camera.

Nice size but could have delivered more

Opinion:
I went to the shop wanting to buy the Sony HC90 but it was out of stock. The salesman recommended the Panny GS250 but it was tad large for my liking. I ended up with the MVX4i for the compact size and possibility of carrying just one piece of equipment for stills and movies guided my choice. Operations are relatively easy with the multiple dials and button. The manuals were good and I was able to make use of most of the functions. I supposed being an owner of an IXUS 400 helps somewhat. The camera works well but colors after transferring to my computer was a tad undersaturated to the Sony that I used to borrow from my buddies. This calls for more experimentation from the short 3 weeks I had with the camera.
