Projectors fall into four broad categories: Ultraportables, conference room projectors, auditorium or fixed-installation projectors, and home theater ones which are sometimes multiuse units that double as home office projectors. Once you've selected your projector type, you should demo different models at the shops to see which best suits your needs and lifestyle.
