CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Micromat's mobile option for using its impressive TechTool suite of Mac diagnostic tools is easy to install and use. If you have an unused iPod or storage device, Protogo can boot up and repair a troubled OS 9 or OS X Mac. 8.3
out of 10The bad: PowerPC Macs can only boot from FireWire devices, so your options are limited if you have an older computer. The manual is skimpy, not offering information about the tests themselves, and the software is pricey.
The bottom line: Even Macs need a little TLC now and then, and TechTool's reputation combined with mobile convenience makes this a great utility to have on hand.
