The best Windows ever



Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Very useful taskbar and jumplists combo... visually even more enticing and user-frinedly than Vista...
Cons: Beta version offers challenging driver compatibilities
Opinion:
Unless you use it yourself, you wont appreciate the much-improved taskbar implementaton in Windows 7. I overwrote my Vista with the 32-bit Windows 7 beta 7000 build. McAfee antivirus was giving me problems initially, causing my system to freeze. As soon as I removed it and installed Karspersky, I have been loving this machine.

W7 does away with Vista's annoying notifications. It gives the user an option to tone down notif alerts, such as not dimming the desktop when being prompted to launch a program.

The taskbar is immensely useful. When you put your pointer at one of the taskbar items, a jumplist is called out, conveniently listing options re what you want to do with the application. This saves time especially for users who are into opening multiple browser tabs and windows plus applications and programs.
