Not that good...
May 4, 2008Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: It just... "Works".
Cons: Very slow.
Opinion:
Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac isn't that good at all. It's too expensive and may be slow on some machines.
iWork '08 is a lot better than Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac.

Pros: word computer screen appearance less busy and items on the tool bar easier to sight, the help function on word now goes automatically to the feature on the toolbar you are querying about
Cons: Word default docx file type incompatible with previous versions of ms word.
Opinion:

Hence when you save a file you must remember and I mean must remember to click on the format drop down box then click on the 1997-2004 office selection for it to save as a .doc. I cannot change the default (and i have tried) from .docx to .doc . once its saved as a .docx ... Read more
