This is up and above. Office 2008 for Mac... Is down in the dumps.

Pros: Very powerful and easy to use.
Cons: I don't think theres any at all. Maybe the fact that you have to buy it?
Opinion:
iWork '08 is very powerful and easy to use and comes at a cheaper price than Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac.

Keynote gives you stunning presentations and is very tweakable, Pages and Numbers (The equivalent to Excel and Word for Microsoft Office) is easy to use.

every thing from apple just works

Pros: Simple to use, intuitive, powerful & flashy !!
Cons: Too advance for MS office
Opinion:
I use keynotes and pages on a day to day basis.
It is so much easier to use compared to clunky Powerpoint and text editing orientated Words.



Keynotes allows you to create kick ass, professional grade presentations within mins. things work here. create complex presentations or standalone presentation with menus, clickable links, e-mail, or website, than export to PDF, Flash, interactive videos, Powerpoint, just to name a few. it works with iDvd too !
everything looks great, drop shadows, reflection, 3D cinema quality transitions & 3D animations powerpoint can only dream off.

Pages lets you create complex documents in a few simple steps. apple's templates are easy and great to use. Again, professional grade, create things you'd pay professional design house to come out with.
