The bad: Sluggish operating system; having to buy new cartridges all the time.
The bottom line: It's one of the best dye-sub models on the market and is capable of producing vibrant, detailed pictures in just over a minute. Sluggish operating system aside, there's very little not to like here.

a good stand alone portable printer
Feb 13, 2007Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: good quality prints, 2.5 inch LCD makes editing easy.
Cons: a tad big, heavy & expensive for a 4R only printer
Opinion:
a very good printer but a printer this big should at least be able to print 5R size photo.
a better design in preventing dust from entering the unit than the other Selphys.
