The bad: Poor print quality; expensive; no fax machine; flimsy paper cassette; slow text output speed; unreliable wireless performance.
The bottom line: The Canon Pixma MP988 multifunction printer is a step up from its predecessor, but the print quality isn't up to standard and it doesn't perform as quickly as the competition.

Great All in One printer
Oct 30, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Good film and photo scanner, wireless printer all in one
Cons: A bit expensive
Opinion:
Has been using it for 3 months now and has no problems with it. I am connecting via wifi and has no problems connecting via the included software. I am also scanning via wifi. Print quality is great, no complains from people who I have printed photos for. I have scan all my films\negatives into my PC and it gives very good quality photos. You could also print directly to your CD or DVD with the included adapter. You can connect to it via bluetooth with separate adapter if needed.
Love the printer since it has replaced my HP printer a few months back.
