The bad: Slow print speeds; Wi-Fi option is expensive.
The bottom line: On the surface, the X3550 appears to be a budget workhorse of a printer with the enticing option of wireless connectivity. It's a pity then, that the wireless is so expensive to include, and the printer itself so slow.

It's not worth the aggravation
Nov 25, 2008Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: None
Cons: Connectivity is non-existent
Opinion:
After several attempts to get this printer up and running, I am still unsuccessful. Have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service at Lexmark without resolution to the problem. Have installed and uninstalled several times, downloaded the "patch" to fix the problem, still without resolution. Would NOT recommend this product to anyone!! Customer service at Lexmark unsatisfactory.
