Design, Printing and Functions are good
Aug 2, 2007Rating: 5 out of 10 (Average)
Pros: Affordable Unit; Pricey catridges, Good scanning capability, Quiet
Cons: Lot of errors E2, E3, E5!
Opinion:
This Pixma has good looks and nice scanner and it is affordable but unlike my pixma ip1000 that's a moneymaker this one made me lose a lot of cash, paper jam errors cartridge problems, Inktanks expensive and the power button gets stuck. The thing that irritates me is that the unit was probably designed in Japan but was manufactured in Vietnam now that made this machine affordable but after the ink runs out if you buy four black cartidges, you already have the equivalent to buy another unit, was'nt it better if the unit itself is "Made in Japan" and the cartridge Vietnam or China? This is my third canon printer and I will recommend a Canon printer anytime.. But not this one.
