The bad: Slow text prints and scans; mediocre print quality; limited feature options.
The bottom line: The HP OfficeJet 6310 offers lots of features to home users but falls short in the face of its competition. There are better All-in-Ones for your home office.

Dec 26, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Ease of setup, fast, all functions working well
Cons: Print quality (but hey if you want a superb quality print, get a photosmart instead)
Opinion:
The printer was up and running in 30mins
That included installing the driver in both my home computers, setting up the network printing (using the router), setting up the fax function and doing test prints.
The speed of draft prints was incredible and together with the silence of its operation, I was awed by this machine from day 1.
This is a great office all in one with all its function including the paper feeder. Of course, i can't say the print quality is superb even at the highest quality. However, it's an office machine! If we need great photo quality prints, we should get photoprinters right?
The poor quality of printing is regrettable ! ! ! !
Nov 11, 2006Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Easy to use and understand
Cons: The quality of print is unforgivable!
Opinion:
For the money, and compared to even other HP's, this is the poorest quality printer I have ever used other than dot matrix!
Buyer Beware. You have to own it to suffer how very poor it is. I bought it from HP and got a three year warranty. I am truly feeling cheated! I WILL BE my last HP printer, or product for that matter.
