The bad: No built-in cropping, rotation, or color correction.
The bottom line: The compact Canon SELPHY CP710 dye-sub photo printer is fast and cheap to operate.

cheap, friendly, portable, pretty
Jun 25, 2006Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: competitive prinout price, lasting photos, space friendly
Cons: No Bluetooth printing
Opinion:
After using CP300, no hesitation was made to purchase the CP710. Even though its compact, you can continously print beyond 100 pictures without stopping.. with the affordable battery pack, u can print anything, anywhere.
One lack is bluetooth as u can print direct from a bluetooth enabled handphone.
Good value for money
Dec 18, 2005Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Good value for money, idiot proof, simple to set up simple to use and product good pics@low cost
Cons: Print quality is good but not the best
Opinion:
Think this a great alternative to photo shops. Let's you do your own printing at home at competitive prices. Finally printing at home is as cheap if not cheaper than going down to the shops....
Good quality & economical printouts, highly recommended!
Nov 30, 2005Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Small footprint, easy to set up and use, quite speedy, good dye-sub print quality, & 30c per print
Cons: Skin tones not as good as 6-color inkjets, postcard printouts are a little shorter than 4R
Opinion:
I bought my CP710 for about S$200+. Each print costs 30c for paper + ink, which makes it comparable to sending to a photo lab. The prints have a protective laminate, and seem to be as durable as commercial prints, without the fading/color shift problems of inkjet prints. Good value for money!
