Cons: Red ink fail
Opinion:
My red ink failed after 6 months, seems quite common problem then. Not worth repairing, would explain why it was going cheap, After having a few printers think i will stick to HP, best experience so far.

compatible price but not reliable

Opinion:
I bought this printer 2 months ago,after using up one set of original ink catridge,the printhead became faulty and is not under warranty.When I send it to brother service centre,the staff insist I purchase a set of ink catridge from them before they replace the printhead for me.It caused me $98 and the printer itself was $118,This is crazy.I searched the web about the comments of this printer,even in Japan,the printerhead of this model have alot of probelms too.(red ink is not printable)I decided to replace it with Canon or HP,and my manager also replaced all the brother laser and ink jet printers to HP(total 18 sets)in my office.I'll never trust this brand anymore,very bad experience and service.

refilling cartridges

Just wanted to know if the cartridges can be refilled.
