third replacement while underwarrenty

Pros: When working the printing, text and photos, is fine.
Cons: Ink system error initial fault. Replaced with a reconditioned 3110 after lengthy negotiations. Second fault -failure to respond to computer - replaced by a second reconditioned 3110.
Opinion:
2 hours of phone calls which had me speaking to 4 different call centre operators and work through the problem in detail in each call and was told by the final operator that the machine was no longer under warranty. Our initial HP3110 was purchased in February this year(2007) and has a three year warranty. Okay lemons happen but HP have the happy knack through poor customer service to compound any problem that may arise with the machine. I will not be purchasing HP again and will be checking that future warranties include local repair or replacement with new, not reconditioned machines. HP machine failure has cost me (this time)nearly a full days work to deal with warrenty and replacement, this without considering the print job that has yet to be completed.

You couldn't expect more from a printer: High-quality printing, speed, noise-free, easy installation. That's it.
