S$839
First Take
At S$839 (US$400), this desktop device joins the ranks of color laser printers that fit both a tight budget and a small desk corner. Because it includes an Ethernet interface, you can connect this printer out of the box to a small network. The 2600n is designed to print a flat 8ppm, slower than the pricier HP Color LaserJet 2550 for grayscale pages, though a normal time for color laser prints. The 2600n holds 250 sheets of paper, which you can double for more money, plus a there's single sheet feed for envelopes. Promising improved laser graphics quality, HP is rolling out new photo paper for this and other laser printers. Laser photo prints aren't well suited for framing, but they fit the bill for affordable and speedy color business graphics. Stay tuned to our upcoming review to find out how this model performs in CNET Labs' tests. ...

Great Printing Companion
Dec 30, 2007Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Fast Error Free Printing, Noisless, Nice Design
Cons: Bulky, Expensive Toner
Opinion:
I generally love this printer. The printout are excellent quality, fast and error free printing, noiseless. The only drawback are the size, and the expensive toner. But the after sales service are excellent.
Not bad at all

Pros: Silent operation, small factor, competitive pricing, network ready
Cons: Expensive toner replacement
Opinion:
Bought it for RM799 (US$222) during a promotion period so no regret. Better than average color photo printing, good brochure, presentation color printing. Excellent black and color text printing. Below average for grey scale priting.
Yet to try on special premium paper, but i guess the reflective coating of the dye make a different (well it just look so nice when compare to inkjet printing when printed on normal plain paper)
But beware of the cost of toner, better of buying a new printer if all of the toner use up at the same time.
Lemon printer

It's slow. Wrong colors. Expensive prints. Many junk prints. Paper jams. It's worse than junk.
