CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Wi-Fi and Ethernet ready; camera and media-card readers; roomy paper trays; duplexer; legal-size scanner bed; color LCD; excellent, fast photo prints; full faxing.
View score
The bad: Expensive; no individual color ink cartridges; must swap out inks when switching between photo and text printing; cruddy scans.
The bottom line: You'll get what you pay for. The 7410 provides the latest all-in-one features and functions--for a price.

Expensive to run, terrible driver & software

Opinion:
Hi, I've had one of these for about a year. They cost a fortune to run and gobble ink. The hardware is unreliable and often plays up. But worst of all are the driver and accompanying software. These eat up nearly 1Gb of disk space, then take forever to load and don't work properly! It's a complete pain. Don't buy one of these.
Problems, problems, problems

Difficult setup with Windows 98, finally set on different computer with Windows XP. Scans and some copies of poor quality even when using normal setting. Worst of all, perhaps, is the inability to print or copy because of LCD error messages, mainly one that states that incorect ink cartridges are installed although they are the same type that came with and are recommended for the equipment. Have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions, replaced the cartridges, and still the same problem. This is the 3rd printer in 1 1/2 years that performed poorly (including a 1220C and d145). I still have an R60 that is working well after appx. 5 years. I had decided to never purchase another HP, but gave it this final shot. Am very disappointed.
