The bad: Slight dithering visible on photo prints; no PictBridge support; slow with prints other than draft.
The bottom line: The Epson C63 brings quality photo printing to the home at an affordable price.

expensive to maintain
Jan 8, 2008Rating: 4 out of 10 (Mediocre)
Pros: cheap unit
Cons: uses lots of ink for average print-out quality
Opinion:
I have owned this type of Epson printer for years. Consumes ink like a sun bather drinking a can of cola in the middle of a hot desert. The printer is cheap but the maintenance isn't.
Avoid, even used models.
Epson Is Trying To Make Money From Ink Cartridges
Jan 25, 2006Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Nice Printouts
Cons: But Ink Cost Will Make You Stop Using It
Opinion:
Epson is selling a cheap printer to make money from EXPENSIVE ink cartridges. Two sets of cartridges can buy you a new printer!
Ink sucker
Jan 5, 2006Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Separate ink colours
Cons: Printing not so good and consumes a lot of ink
Opinion:
I used to own another Epson printer which gave me a lot of good results. I wanted to "upgrade", with the C63 thinking that I was doing something positive... not!
