User Review for HP Photosmart C7280
Excellent Quality and Performance All-In-One
Feb 3, 2009Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: Color quality, speed/performance, wi-fi, fast setup, color LCD, easy-to-read buttons/navigation, 4"x6" tray, duplex printing, borderless printing, faxing and many more...
Cons: None that I can think of.
Opinion:
I've only used this all-in-one for about two days (I bought it two days ago) and couldn't be happier. Coming from two HP printers in the past, I always expect better quality in later models and that's what I received with the C7280. This is my first AIO printer and I wouldn't have chosen it without detailed research first.
In response to the reviewee above me, I haven't gotten any paper jams even when turning on FastDraft and printing several pages at once. I'm not sure, maybe mine's a newer revision.
Starting from the beginning -
- The packaging was well thought out and easy to find everything out of the box
- The manual is well laid out and easy to comprehend
- Setting up the Wi-Fi was a no-brainer (I use WPA-PSK and all I did was type my SSID key in on the printer (Network Setup) and presto - detected by my wireless N router (D-Link DIR-655)).
- Software was easy to install and contain excellent options and features
- Cartridges are small but don't be fooled on their longevity; cheap to replace
- Auto-Sense paper is great as it detects the type of paper you want to use (I'm currently using HP Advanced Photo Paper (4"x6") and regular white paper in the main tray
- Colors are vibrant and mind-blowing
