User Review for Samsung ML-1630
It oozes gorgeousness, & what looks like a black lacquer finish. It's a winner in so many ways.

Pros: It's a beaut! The prettiest mono laser printer there is!
Cons: It's a mono laser printer
Opinion:
OK... You've just blown more than a few Ks on Italian designer furniture lookalikes, updated the color scheme in your Bukit Timah condo unit (experimented with some schmancy wallpaper even), and carved out a little corner in it for your home office. Strict instructions have been given to the kids not to come near Daddy's "computer-stuff" or to be "on the receiving end of the family rotan".
There, sitting in its place of honor is the Samsung ML-1630. It does its thing, with not so much as a whisper. I mean, what more would one ask for? It is afterall, a monolaser printer, which does what it's supposed to but with dollops of style. Which is alot more than what can be said about those other beige, white or gray plastic boxes they call printers...
You have to give it to the design team at Samsung. They've taken back the responsibility of building good looking products. So power to them!
I had initially thought that not having it full-color was a cop-out, but think of it... Do you really want your kids printing indiscrimiently CMYK glory? I rest my case.
