The good: Excellent battery life; solid form factor; decent sound; speedy file transfer time.
The bad: No equalizer support for MP3 format; lengthy transfer time using SonicStage.
The bottom line: It is Sony's best effort to date and, short of some vital features, the NW-HD5 looks to be a viable option for anyone intending to pick up a harddrive MP3 player.

Quite an amazing piece of technology. Easy to use, design is all right, mine is black. Had problems with SS but soon got rid off it. Now hoping it's durable, but time will tell.
