Samsung Q1 Ultra Mobile PC
May 2, 2006
Just like a Swiss Army knife, the Samsung Q1 manages to squeeze a laptop, a tablet, a PDA, a PVP, an MP3 player, a GPS module and a gaming handheld into a tiny form factor.
Samsung unveiled its Q1 Ultra Mobile PC this morning at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The device seeks to combine elements of a laptop, a tablet, a PDA, a PVP, an MP3 player, a GPS module and a gaming handheld into a form factor that falls between a smart phone/pocket PC and an ultraportable laptop. The Q1 is shown here with a USB keyboard and a portfolio carrying case, neither of which is included in the US$1,099 (S$1,734.55) price.
