Fujitsu prepares 300GB notebook drive

Darius Chang  |  Jan 04, 2007

Editors' note :
The 300GB MHX2300BT Fujitsu harddisk will be available in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam from February 2007. Pricing information has yet to be released.

Like money, there is no such thing as too much storage space. For the mobile warrior, the latest 300GB notebook harddisk from Fujitsu should whet some appetites.

Based on perpendicular recording technology, the 2.5-inch drive, christened MHX2300BT, uses the Serial ATA (SATA) interface for faster transfer speeds. This harddisk is a cool 100GB bigger than the Toshiba 200GB drive. The new storage device should hit the shelves sometime in February 2007.

I believe it should be "...whet some appetites", not "wet"!
