10 most memorable laptops
Sony VAIO X505 (2004)Claim to fame: Razor-slim in the age of bricks Before MacBook Air or ThinkPad X300 were even embryos in the wombs of their designers, Sony already had an incredibly slim and light VAIO way back in 2004. In a time when most laptops still resembled rectangular blocks, this 10.4-inch laptop was a mere 785g light with a thickness of only 21mm. Granted, you paid S$6,680 (US$4,918.17) purely for its design as it didn't include any cutting-edge technology back in those days (unlike solid-state drives in the Air and X300). But, at least, it didn't go crazy and try to integrate a non-removable battery. |
