Notebook Price Watch
July 20, 2007
It's been a slow fortnight with no new product announcements. However, this gives us time to take stock of the latest portables which have hit the market. With the exception of budget laptops and some ultra-slim notebooks (like the Toshiba Portege R500), the Santa Rosa platform is now the norm in stores. Look hard enough, and you may just spot some specials on last-generation Centrino machines. Remember that most Sim Lim shops do not operate on fixed-price policies, so don't be shy about showing off your bargaining skills.
