Notebook Price Watch
July 6, 2007
The past week has been an exciting one where we saw two vendors introducing new portables. Dell is making a push into the lifestyle market with its colorful Inspirons and possibly the world's thinnest 13.3-inch notebook. While the latter generously offers a choice of three shades, the former goes for broke with a whopping eight-color option.
Fujitsu, on the other hand, is making a size statement by going into the UMPC market with its LifeBook U1010. Though not as cheap as the Kohjisha portables, it certainly offers more features in its smaller 5.6-inch body. You can check out the rest of its summer range here.
HIGHLIGHTS :
Dell has created a new line of colorful Inspiron laptops and its first 13.3-inch XPS notebook.
We take a closer look at the first UMPC from the Japanese manufacturer, which was launched along with the rest of its summer lineup.
If you like the Sony VAIO FE series, you will probably enjoy the new FZ line as well. Available in three configurations, the top-of-the-line configuration comes with a Blu-ray optical drive.
