Notebook Price Watch

With both hardware (Santa Rosa) and operating system (Windows Vista) entering a new era, only those waiting for the launch of the Mac OS Leopard need wait to get their portables. UMPCs are also entering a new price point, with Kohjisha portables barely tipping the S$1,000 (US$736.25) mark. And with news that the upcoming ASUS EEE PC may be shipping at a US$200 price point, we look forward to even cheaper machines in the near future.
