Great Notebook For Just About Anything !
Nov 20, 2009Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Performance, sound quality, bright screen.
Cons: Slightly bulky for a 14", nothing else of vital importance.
Opinion:
Got this notebook in Nov.'09 with a slightly different specs: Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz, 4GB RAM, LED screen, and Windows 7. The rest is the same. All I can say is that this is a blindingly fast machine for rudimentary Office apps, web-surfing, and image processing. Thanks to the NVidia graphics card, older FPS games like Quake III Arena runs beautifully. The sound quality is surprisingly good given that it's not an Altec Lancing one. The 6-cell battery lasted around 3 and a half hours of websurfing for me. Not a lot to complain about for the price but adding an illuminated keyboard and a fingerprint scanner would have been nicer.
