Ultra Sexy Mobile PC Companion
Jul 28, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: beautifully design (from keyboard, layout, screen, buttons); light yet poweful
Cons: 32GB SSD; only slightly faster bootups
Opinion:
Compared to my previous TX, found the design slightly more sexy and powered up sufficiently to run vista business seamlessly. No regrets at all on the investment sunk into this beauty. Cool
Sony has done it again!!
Jul 28, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Better keyboard layout; SSD speeds up system; Best screen in the market
Cons: Pricy, but you pay for what you get. Only 32GB SSD storage
Opinion:
I am using this new baby for a week now and have not regretted my decision to pre-book it 3 weeks in advance. Was using the 1st generation TX model for more than a year and I can swear that the new TZ screen is remarkably better than the previous model - no more streeky white light at the bottom of the screen. Upgraded to 2GB SDO RAM and Vista speed is acceptable. Only annoyance is the smallish 30GB storage space in the SSD drive which is insufficient. Furthermore, Sony says it is not advisable to remove the 6GB worth of recovery partition space even after I have created the recovery disks. I hope Sony can come up with a solution to free-up the 6GB of space.
