Malfunctioning?
Jul 14, 2008Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Lots of problems
Opinion:
I have had many problems with my PC. I don't know if this is just mine, but it is very slow and often turns off without notice. I checked the settings and brought it into have it checked, but nothing was found wrong with it. It often freezes and I've had troubles with the keys, which sometimes dont work. I would recommend buying a different comp. This one doesn't do it for me.

Average performance for an expensive piece of hardware
Mar 19, 2008Rating: 5 out of 10 (Average)
Pros: Clean layout; quite hard drive (but noisy optical drive)
Cons: Slow optical drive; not enough RAM
Opinion:
This product is expensive for its features and capabilities. windows Vista is slow. The optical drive is sluggish and noisy. It does look good and has a very comfortable keyboard layout. No firewire connection.
A cost effective machine which highly exceeds the daily business computing needs of the ave user.
Mar 11, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Cost effective,light,slim,good display,responsive,no frills,good keyboard
Cons: Short battery life,Vista still does not run well with many apps (choose WInXP Pro for this notebook))
Opinion:
This entry level notebook meets 90% of business users needs IMO.
VISTA business which ships with this notebook is definately a plus, its disk imaging tool empowers common users to restore OS/data in case of failure.
I recommend this notebook to all business users. My final 2 cents......do remember to get the care package and spare batteries for this notebook. It will not cost you more than SGD $1800 for both.
Note:
Running WinXP Pro on this machine will be 30% faster than Vista Business (with all animation switched off)
cost-effective,
