No Dual Boot
Sep 16, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: 4 USB, ExpressCard slot, Firewire, Multi-memory card reader, Built-in software security features
Cons: Windows Vista Premium is slow on 1GB RAM, Hidden hard drive
Opinion:
It's OS runs slow on just 1 GB RAM, so I had to put another 1 GB more. The 4 USB ports were very useful as was the Firewire for frequent file backups. Multi-card reader was useful for ready boost feature. Acer's personal storage disk was useful, as well as the simple encryption. The hard drive was sort of hidden, so if you try to install another os on the second partition. You'd only see the MBR with less than 500KB in size.
Beautiful

Okay.
Jan 22, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: HD2500; Battery life; LCD Screen
Cons: Chassis color dirties too quickly
Opinion:
A reliable mid range portable PC. Vista Home Premium works fine. The ATI Mobility Radeon HD2500 is adequate for occaisonal gaming. The four USB ports are very welcome and so is the Wireless A/B/G capability. The 14.1", 1280 x 800 screen is bright and clear. The only downside is that the off-white chassis color dirties or soils quickly.
!!! All Purpose Notebook !!!
Nov 29, 2007Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Nice styling and great features with an affordable price tag
Cons: Windows Vista Home Premium Edition
Opinion:
A great notebook for any kind of purposes. Works like a charm except for the vista where it occasionally likes to freeze up. Despite the vista glitch, this notebook offers superior quality and features just like other high end notebooks with half the price tag. This notebook suits for people who desires multimedia, game capability features and at the same time for day to day usage packed in a medium size laptop. If size is not an issue for you, iÂ’d recommend you the 5920G series. Im so impressed with this laptop that i will soon get the Aspire 5920G series for my family.
