Pros: Great Package
Cons: Bluetooth and Infrared Missing froom a great package
Opinion:
Excellent Features and Software Additions...all the good things from Sony group Like Dolby Integration.Great Sound...and But just two fallouts Bluetooth Integration and Infrared Missing in a great laptop. I had considered the XPS after working for Dell for a year but picked the Vaio after looking at the Acer 32XX Series(The Lightest i found), XPS was light too, Sony Vaio still got me...Looked at the Thinkpad which i used for 2 years at work...but No OS Intg like XP Pro with it and too many Retailers Changing the Config in Non-Static Conditions etcetera made walk away from Thinkpads!!!
Skj
PS: Love the Vaio..No Regrets
Stylish & Powerful

Pros: Looks, good sound clarity, Battery life/
Cons: DVD drive bay quality inacceptable
Opinion:
The VAIO cannot be classified as a laptop, when I actually went out to buy a laptop. In a week I changed them thrice all from a Thinkpad to a Compaq but I know I am VAIO and nothing else will do you know that when the damn thing just feels right in your hand. All the laptops in this range have extremely similar features but somehow I feel much better when sitting with a VAIO. Yeah its expensive but the money is well spent with the amazing sound clarity, battery life and the Sony Service. Highly reccomended trust me.
