May 18, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Nice Graphic, high speed and etcs... ...
Cons: Battery Life not good enough and quite heavy for gals... ...
Opinion:
Juz bought it yesterday (17 May 2008)and it's my very first laptop. Been using PC for many years. Quite like this laptop coz of the motion eye,lcd wide(14.1),200GB,2GB,DVD rewriter, high processor. Good graphic, good in watching movie, drama, play games. The do sell skins for laptop like what HP do. It's S$39.90. I didn't buy coz it's quite expensive. Will but when my pinky vaio gets dirty. P.S. also sell skins for laptop maybe you can get a cheaper one there. I might go there to purchase one.
Battery life isn't good, think most laptop are like that. Remember to choose the colour wisely. It's quite heavy for gals. It's 2.5kg!!!
Thanks for viewing.
Love the Sony!

Cons: Nothing, absolutely nothing...
Opinion:

To start with, it uses the latest Intel Core 2 Duo (Penryn), T8100. It's more energy efficient and cooler. It is also slightly faster than the latest Merom Core 2 Duo. Note that Penryn is Intel's first 45 nanometer microprocesor and is an entirely redesigned architecture.
I start appreciating Penryn with my Vaio's 2GB RAM. There is absolutely no gating factor to speed. I have tried running iTunes, some Office 07 applications, ripped videos, while surfing the net and there is zero glitch. Better yet, this laptop looks gorgeous, an eye candy. The clean keyboard design gives Apple a run for its money!
I have not tried the battery life, though it tells me 4 hours... Penryn is supposed to eat less power than ... Read more
