CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Extremely thin and light; sleekest ThinkPad yet; built-in DVD burner. 8.5
out of 10View score
The bad: Solid-state drive comes at a high premium; touchpad's location makes it easy to accidentally graze while typing.
The bottom line: The ThinkPad X300 breaks new ground by packing a broad display, full-size keyboard, and nearly every feature a mobile user needs into a sleek, lightweight case.

Mar 30, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Small, Handy, Light
Cons: Good machine for Business
Opinion:
I have been looking for a number of X-series thinkpad, the good thing is they are small and easy to take around; I always like their keyboard, just sooo comfortable! Another point is, the new X300 has built-in dvd-RW! You don't need to carry an external anymore as for other X series. If you are happy with the processor speed I would go for it! By the way, its graphic card is okay but not ad good as T61.
thinnest you can get from Lenovo
Mar 14, 2008Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: good specs
Cons: price
Opinion:
while this was a very good effort from the chinese company with regards to thinning this device, however they are still not at par with Apple in terms of their approach in overall design & manufacturing technique. the Mac-Air is still a puzzle even to the experienced japanese assemblers. only if Lenovo's objective of designing/producing this product has their consumer's regard about value for money in mind, then they could have coveted the most worthy appeal to everyone. just hopes this one is not not a one-off effort of showing their competitiveness in the market but a genuine offering (of future products) to the average person who doesn't need to spend tons of money to use a tech like this.
