Pros: Relative light weight and good value for money
Cons: Keypad slightly cramp and battery life can be better
Opinion:
Bought this via Dell's online service. Delivery took about a week which is reasonable. Overall build quality very good. Used to the keyboard of Thinkpad for many many years and found most of laptops not up to the mark. This Dell's keyboard is surprisingly resembling the Thinkpad's which is a bonus. Dell's system can be tailor-made which is a great plus. I opted out those I don't use such as the fingerprint recognition and the webcam. I chose the windows XP rather than the Vista as many of my "old" software are XP friendly. For same hardware, XP is running faster so I have no incentive to use VISTA at all.

The keyboard on the other hand is slightly to the "squeezy" side of the spectrum. Don't know why Dell didn't make full use of the width of the case (there are many spaces at the two edges). The limitation of the battery ... Read more

Review on my first laptop

Pros: Not bad design and reasonably light
Cons: Battery life can be better
Opinion:
Bought this laptop at dell online. I find the design quite nice. Most important is the weight. Although it is not as light as those small high end but expensive laptop, i am quite pleased with it overall.
