Pros: light and portable, easy to use keypad, pleasant looking desktop, good keyboard response (text typing)
Cons: lag time of keyboard (in playing games), coffee brewing temperature, inability to support multi programs without hanging
Opinion:
To add on:
For the laptop I am using,
1) the metallic part that is holding the screen together has a gap at the top right end.
2) refuses to boot as and when, and it is totally unpredictable. No reason has been found so far to suggest that it's something I did to the laptop. And the frequency has increased.
3) Oftenly programs like Internet Explorer, Outlook, Photoshop hang, and I have to restart. The frequency is once a day a averaging the number of days this laptop has been with me.
4) The USB terminals aren't as sensitive as they use to be just one week before. It can't detect the add-on optical mouse and sd card I insert daily.

Good for value but definitely spoilt NEC brand

Pros: Small size. moderate weight. Speed is fast. like the design, compact
Cons: Poor built quality. Cheap material and lousy keypad feel. Forget touch pad and speaker and mic too. They're there for display
Opinion:
I bought it on 14th june PC show. Small, light weight, mobile, NEC(no.1 in Japan) and good price too. I know it made in china but I thinking may be design still with NEC Japan. Very disappointed. This obviously not for mobile or multimedia purpose. First, U can use it on ur lap bcos u'll get 90deg burnt. Good enough for fry egg. 2nd, 4 speaker my a**. Max sound still worst then my N82. Built in mic? May be it is there, I talk to 2 frd. Can't hear. Keypad not so responsive and touchpad together with press button feel cheap. Heating problem below really serious cos can't use it during traveling. Please keep it in Japan, NEC!
